Hallmark Hotel Manchester
Forest Contract is proud to have worked with the Hallmark Hotel in Manchester during their huge refurbishment project. During this project, we provided an interior design service to truly transform this hotel. Mood boards were designed and pitched, and we worked together extensively to achieve a look of distinction and class.
We followed this project through the process, and even paid a visit to our second factory in Blackburn to take a look at the bespoke banquette seating in production. This piece was particularly special as it was for the VIP area, and is 2 metres high. The mood boards were in-depth and presented a range of ideas and design schemes, and aided the process of creating the Hallmark Hotel’s ideal look. These included a floor plan, and indicated where each piece of furniture would go as well as showing where our design team got their inspiration from. This meant pictures were also provided of other décor featuring similar products and design schemes to give our client a visual representation of the ideas.
The other services we provided were lighting as well as interior design, and the lighting covered the whole dining and bar area. This elegant lighting helps set the tone for the area, and gives it the sophisticated style expected from a Hallmark Hotel. Our comprehensive interior design service provided the Hallmark hotel with their desired look and vastly improved the atmosphere inside the venue. Below are some before and after shots of the hotel, showing how our design service changed each area.
Banquette Seating
We provided a variety of banquette seating, and one piece was a grand, tall seating piece for the VIP area is bespoke. It was designed specifically for the Hallmark Hotel, and creates a large surrounding seating area with a fluted back for added luxury and comfort. The back of the large seating was upholstered in a grey fabric, and the seat was upholstered in chalk coloured leather. The other banquette seating pieces we supplied were two of our Bolster Back banquette seating in light cream and maroon leather. Furthermore, we supplied two free standing radius booths, and stools to match, meaning we supplied five pieces of banquette seating, all perfect for keeping multiple guests comfortable.
Other products
The other products we supplied varied, and the huge refurbishment project required a range of tables, such as the large one in the VIP area, and multiple laminated tables for the loose chairs and in the banquette seating areas.
We also supplied a range of chairs-from arm chairs to bar stools. These were also finished in a stylish assortment of fabrics and leathers. The 40 bar stools were finished in chalk and ash coloured leather, as well as aubergine and chalk coloured fabric. We also provided 25 arm chairs in dark red and grey fabric, which further complimented the sophisticated style.
To finish off the look, we added some Queen Ann Wing Chairs, two Clarendon 2 seater sofas, and two Toro Lounge Chairs, all in the consistent style of luxurious red and grey fabric.
The project was certainly an interesting and fantastic one to work on, and getting everything done to the agreed timescale ensured their opening could go smoothly and their guests can now enjoy the new furniture in comfort.
